Lucky to have OHIP in Ontario

We are so fortunate to have subsidized health care in Ontario. I think some times we take for granted it will always be there. I have lived my whole life in an environment where there is ultimately complete medical funding. It’s hard to imagine paying to see a doctor only to find out that nagging pain in my knee is just a change in the atmospheric pressure.
In California, they have no such plan. It is 100% private funding, health insurance plans, life-disability policies, and rich uncles or aunts paying the bills.
Here’s an amusing link to a video game that comments on their issues. It appears they’d like to adopt a plan like Ontario’s.
